We are delighted to announce that, as of today, Marie Smale and Caitlin Ferguson join the PCB Byrne partnership.

Caitlin joined our commercial litigation and civil fraud team in early 2020 and she has since worked on some of the firm’s most significant multi-jurisdictional fraud claims, including the defence of a multi-billion-dollar claim relating to an African mining project. She has been repeatedly recognised by Legal 500 as a Leading Associate in Civil Fraud .

Marie came to the firm in 2023 and has built a practice across high-value cross-border litigation, including successfully defending a claim worth in excess of US$1bn relating to the ownership of one of the world’s largest fertiliser companies.
