Notable Experience

• Acted for a high-profile individual in the crypto industry in respect of copyright proceedings and injunctive relief. Acted for the same individual in respect of various libel proceedings both in England and Wales and in Norway.
• Acted for a HNW individual in respect of a Bitcoin mining fraud, obtaining a $4.5m judgment in their favour.
• Acted for a start-up client in respect of payments induced by fraud, obtaining judgment in default and subsequently pursuing enforcement within the EU.

Background

Joe was admitted as a solicitor (England and Wales) in September 2023. Joe holds a first-class law degree from the University of Greenwich and an LLM LPC from BBP University (Merit). Joe joined PCB Byrne in October 2024, prior to which he trained and practiced at Ontier LLP in their litigation department.
