Hanin Al-Zubi

Hanin was Called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2022 on completing the Bar Vocational Course at City Law School with High Merit. She was awarded a Roger Cox Scholarship by Gray's Inn and the City University Academic Excellence Award.

Hanin read law at the University of Kent on receipt of The Kent International Undergraduate Scholarship and obtained First-Class Honours. She was subsequently awarded the UCL Laws Academic Excellence Scholarship to complete her Masters in Corporate Law at University College London, in which she achieved a Distinction.

Notable Experience

• Assisting on a strike out application raising issues of abuse of process and scope of duty in the context of a $600 million auditor's negligence claim.
• Acting for the claimants in a class action against a multinational construction company in the Jordanian courts.
• Acting for claimant Saudi oil and gas company in appx. $250 million ICC arbitration against multinational technology conglomerate.
• Assisting on a strike out application in claim alleging fraudulent retention of part of a property by the developer of a hotel investment scheme.
