Andrew is an adept commercial litigator with experience across a wide range of high-value civil
fraud and commercial disputes.
With a recent focus on complex civil fraud proceedings - covering both substantive trials, foreign
enforcement of judgments and applications for urgent interim relief - Andrew's career has also seen
him work on challenging commercial disputes, banking, fraud and regulatory investigations and
anti-money laundering matters.

- For Tatiana Akhmedova, a high-net-worth individual, enforcing the UK's largest-ever divorce
award of £453 million across nine jurisdictions, including successfully strike out of a
respondent's counterclaim, and successful substantive claims under s.423 of the Insolvency Act
1986 / s.37 of the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973 following a three-week trial in the Family
Division of the High Court - Akhmedova v Akhmedov & Ors [2020] EWHC 1526 (Fam), Akhmedova v
Akhmedov & Ors [2021] EWHC 545 (Fam).
- For two of the principal defendants to a US$1 billion fraud claim brought by a UAE bank alleging
deceit and conspiracy to injure.
- For Dmitry Tsvetkov, a high-net-worth individual, in relation to claims arising from a breakdown
in the relationship with his co-investors and business partners in a Graff Diamonds franchise,
and successfully defending a claim on the basis of oral agreements in a two-week Commercial

Background
Andrew was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in New
Zealand in
2016. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Arts, with a double major in music and
philosophy, from the University of Auckland.
Andrew joined PCB Litigation in September 2019, prior to which worked in the litigation team of one of
New Zealand's leading commercial law firms.
