Camilla Cook
Camilla is a commercial litigator with a wide range of experience both in the UK and internationally. She advises clients on a variety of complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes in court proceedings and international arbitration.

Camilla has particular expertise in interlocutory applications, civil fraud and commercial litigation. Her offshore experience also makes her well placed to assist clients with trusts and asset recovery litigation.

Notable experience
  • Successfully representing a Kazakhstan company in an UNCITRAL arbitration valued at USD $10 million.
  • Acting for Ukrnafta, a Ukrainian company, in proceedings to set aside the orders granting permission for the Claimant to enforce a Stockholm Chamber of Commerce Arbitration Award of USD $145.7 million (CPC v Ukrnafta [2020] EWHC 769 (Comm)).
  • Representing Domestic and General PLC in a number of proceedings to prevent fraudulent cold-callers from misleading D&G customers.
  • Representing KMG International in support of the enforcement of a USD $200 million arbitration award.
  • Assisting a number of companies in relation to push-payment frauds and ultimately seeking Norwich Pharmacal relief against banks.
  • Representing two high-net-worth individuals as co-defendants to a USD $1 billion worldwide freezing order and in relation to substantive litigation in response to accusations of fraud.
Camilla graduated from Queens' College, Cambridge with a degree in history in 2012. She completed her PGDL at BPP Law School in 2013 and her LPC at Kaplan Law School in 2014. She subsequently began training as a solicitor with the London office of HFW and completed her final seat in HFW's Hong Kong office. Camilla joined the Guernsey office of Appleby upon qualification in 2017 and moved back to work in London at the then PCB Litigation LLP in 2019.
